Tractor Ted

This week has been another fun packed week in Year R.

The children have written a recount of what they did during their trip to Wellington Park.

They have talked about the names of baby animals and what animals eat and created lots of animal crafts.  They even made lovely thank you cards for the staff at Wellington.

In phonics we have learnt ‘ow’ (blow the snow) and ‘oo’ (poo at the zoo)

In maths we have focused on number 9.  We watched the ‘nine’ episode of Numberblocks, counted to 9, looked at which number is one more / one less than 9 and investigated ways of making 9.

The children had great fun during our athlete visit on Tuesday where they all had a go at doing fitness circuits.

We hope you all have a lovely restful weekend and thank you as always for all of your continued support.
