The Gingerbread Man

Welcome back and Happy New Year!  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday.

This half term we are focusing on traditional tales and our story this week has been ‘The Gingerbread Man’.  There has been some fantastic writing going on in drawing club and the children have used their fantastic imaginations to create lots of lovely pieces of art work!

In phonics we have learnt the special friends ‘ch’ and ‘qu’ and recapped the sounds we learnt before Christmas.

In maths we have introduced children to the concept of zero as well as sorting representations of numbers 1-5.

With this current cold weather can we please ask that children bring in hats, scarfs and gloves that are named please.
