Mole Class – Mandir

In our RE learning, Mole class have been learning about special places. We have been focussing on Hinduism and learning all about a special place, called a Mandir. We had an amazing time learning about the main features of a Mandir and creating them around our classroom. I wonder if you can tell your grown ups about the different features of a Mandir. Mole Class – English Lesson

In our English lesson today, Mole class transformed into the role of Sonny the meerkat. He is the main character in the book ‘Meerkat Mail’, that we have been looking at in our English lessons (following our visit from his cousins Crackle and Pop last week!). They worked in partners to create a news report about Sonny’s trip to Fleet. Wow! What an amazing time Sonny had on his travels and what incredible news reporters we have in the class too! Animal Workshop – Mole Class

What a fun afternoon we’ve had in Mole class! We were lucky to have an amazing animal workshop by Ken and Ian. The children learnt all about different animals that live in different habitats. I wonder if you can remember any of the interesting facts that they taught us… Mole class were so sensible during their workshop that they earnt their last mole in the hole! Well done Moles!

Clay animals – Mole Class

Yesterday, Mole class were busy painting our clay animals. We had to be very gentle as they were VERY delicate! Might have to get some super glue at the ready…!
